Welcome to 5th grade. Let me introduce myself by telling you a little about me. I grew up in San Diego and attended our local public schools. After graduating from high school, I went to UCSD where I earned my B.A. in History. After attending UCSD, I went on to National University and earned an M.A. in Teaching. I have a BLAD Credential and an Administrative Services Credential.

I have been teaching at Darnall over 11 years. I began my career in teaching at Emerson/Bandini Elementary school as a 4th grade teacher. After working at Emerson/Bandini, I went to Linda Vista Elementary where I taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade. After that, I came to Darnall where I have been since 2003. While at Darnall, I have taught Kindergarten, 4th grade, and 5th grade. In addition to teaching children, in the past I have also taught adult classes at the Cesar Chavez Campus for San Diego Continuing Education.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and baby boy. Some of my other interests include running, playing soccer, and playing the PS3.
