Mrs. White-Steele

Welcome students and families to Room 12! I am very excited to be your teacher this year.

I am from Orange County and moved down to San Diego right after graduating high school in 2003 to attend my dream school: San Diego State University. I originally started out as a geology major but knew something was missing- I wanted to share my passion for learning with others. Becoming a teacher was the perfect solution! I have been working at Darnall since 2009 and have served in many roles- Intervention Teacher, 7th/8th Science Teacher, Second Grade Teacher, and First Grade Teacher. I have to admit though, that second grade is by far my favorite grade to teach!

In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, swimming, attending concerts, traveling and cooking.

My educational pathway:
Valencia Elementary School (Laguna Hills, CA) K-6
Los Alisos Intermediate School (Mission Viejo, CA) 7-8
El Toro High School (Lake Forest, CA) 9-12
