I received my teaching credential in 2004 followed by a Masters of Education in Cross Cultural Teaching in 2005. I have a very eclectic set of experiences. After teaching in self contained classrooms at  both Boone Elementary and Memorial Academy of Learning and Technology for a total of four years, I left to pursue other avenues within the education field. I spent five years creating, running, and teaching outreach education for the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA.  I feel lucky to have the opportunity to explore the world of art with students, and learn and grow along side them. This year will be my third year teaching art here at Darnall.
