Welcome to a New School Year!

I have had the pleasure of working at Darnall Charter School for 14+ years. I started as a student teacher in Room 8, working with 4th &5th graders. I have now moved into Upper Grades working with the wonderful 6th graders. I enjoy working with children at this age because they have so much to offer. They are full of wonder and they make me laugh.

My expectations for your child are that they come to school everyday, prepared and ready to learn new and exciting things. My goal is to help them become responsible, organized and productive citizens. I want to help them appreciate the little things in life, and realize their dreams whenever possible.

I am open to comments, questions or feedback. If you need to discuss anything with me, please feel free to do so before or after school. I am always available by email and will usually get back to you within 12 hours.
